SONA, a piece for string quartet, video, and electronics, was created as an auditory reflection of the environment of Houston, Texas, where the composer, Kurt Stallmann, lives. In its full version, SONA is about 45 minutes long, including the three segments of video, entitled Passages, which total 9 minutes.
